Hello there

So I started eating better last week and upping the exercise, and I have lost no weight. At all!

I know that it is early days, but does anyone else have any experience of this? Does it take a bit of time for your body to start shedding the pounds?

How long?
Are you eating less as well as better?
What are you drinking?

AS well as weight, measure yourself as as the body gets denser it shrinks while weighing the same
BUT
slow and steady and change your habits, then you'll only have to do it once

Thanks. Eating less, and not so much rubbish, and a lot more excercise.

I certainly feel quite dense as I sit here trying to resist some wine!

A week? keep going. Slow and steady wins the race.

I have to think that each week down is one week towards not being too heavy on holiday!

You have to think long term.
Short term fixes just result in having to lose the same weight again and again.
An average of 1lb a week turns into 4 stone in a year
And if you do it by learning to eat for the body size you plan to be, you will stay that size for ever.
