Losing weight as a mum for the first time

Generally have been big. Have lost the same 4 stone 3 times so I know how... But...

I've never done it as a mum. In the past i've done WW and lots of exercise. I've been hugely invested obsessedabout counting points/saving points/discussing points and have had plenty of flexible free time to exercise at will. I clearly don't have the head space or the time to repeat this clearly unsuccessful anywayapproach.

Any tips for how to do it this time?

I'm in the same boat, but haven't ever lost that much before! Well done you. I am trying to do 5:2 fasting diet. It's so simple to do so doesn't use much brain power. I've been telling myself il take baby for a walk everyday but haven't got round to that yet. Is that something you could do for a bit of exercise?

Sorry didn't explain much about 5:2 but there is a lot of info and support groups on here, if you search for them.

I'm enjoying slimming world, extra easy plan. Weigh dairy and cereal/bread allowance and get 5-15 syns a day or 105 a week to use. Most food doesn't need counting though so may be worth a go, especially if you cook for the family. Free membership voucher in woman magazine from next Tuesday.
