Anyone else done VLCD then Slimming World, and if so did you lose weight?

I did 6 weeks of a VLCD from January 2nd and lost 18kgs which I was delighted with. I decided to follow it with Slimming World so I wouldn't go back to my old (bad Grin ) ways, that was about 10 days ago . I am loving the food but when I weighed the first week I had put on 0.5 kg which I was fine about because normally after coming off a VCLD you put on up to 2 kg as your body gets used to cards etc again. However I weighed again this morning and am only down 0.2kg so not even half a pound. Any ideas as to why ? I am trying to think positively and say well normally it's 2 kg ish up at the end whereas I am only now 0.3 kg up so that is good? Help me keep motivated please!!!

I was calorie counting until last September (I used to aim for about 1200 a day). I lost 5 and a half stone on it but the last half a stone was so hard to get off. I gained about 10 lbs on holiday and decided to try sw as I was fed up with eating sod all and losing 0.25/0.5lb a week. I was very nervous that I'd gain as I just wasn't used to eating reasonable amounts of food. I don't think I lost anything until the 2nd week but I did lose, and faster then when I was doing low cal. I think I settled into a pattern of a good loss tone week and a small loss the week after. I do lose very slowly in general though so you might find it different. I put on 10lbs over December and went back on sw in January. This time it's been a bit slower coming off but I was out on some meds for a month which really didn't help. I've got just under 3lbs to go now!
I am so much happier than I was on a low calorie diet although there are certain things I really miss as I won't waste syns on them, and I did like the fact I could "spend" my calories however I chose. Once I get to target I think I'll do a bit of both. And I am never binge eating my way thru december again after seeing how long it's taking to get it back off!! Good luck!
