Can you tell me what is missing from my diet today?

Breakfast: oat bran with almond milk

Tea and almond milk

Lunch: omelette with butternut squash and feta with broccoli and green beans

Handful of almonds, handful of cashews

Dinner: fillet of salmon with tomato and mozzarella salad

4 chocolates (dark - from Godiva)
1 Apple
1 hot chocolate w/ almond milk

What am I missing from this? Is it still too calorific to lose weight?

google my fitness pal and put all your info in there - it will tell you how many calories you should be eating.

You then put in your daily foods and it tells you how many calories everything is.

It is a faff at first but soon remembers each food you put in etc = and WORKS. Loads of folk here use it with brilliant results, you can see exactly what is what with your way of eating Smile

Hard to know given you haven't supplied the quantities. Agree that myfitnesspal would help. But in general it looks balanced.

I found the best thing about myfitnesspal wasn't the calorie counting but the fact that it tracked my sugar/salt etc intake. Very helpful for learning how to eat healthily.

That does not look enough food to me or fluids. Fats are almost none existent too I agree with others log it on my fitness pal and track it. I love it

Omelette has eggs
Mozarella is cheese
Nuts are high in fat

and without knowing portions, that could be anything between 1000 and 4000 calories

Not getting into argument but cheese is not a good fat it has been processed to some degree. Omelettes are eggs a source of protien. Nuts is good source I more referred to other fats like coconut oil olive oil or avocado.

Nothing wrong with dairy fat imo. Cheese is fine in moderation.
