How can i get back into this? I just seem to spend every evening picking at any rubbish i can find.
I really want to loose weight.

Smalline · 23/10/2006 21:25

I really don't know what to suggest tortUREoisechamber, (says she tucking into her dinner). I know that it sounds boring but couldn't you pick on things like carrot sticks, raisins pieces of fruit etc. Are you picking because you are bored?

Yes mainly boredom. On my own once the DD's are in bed.
Only sweet things seem to do!
(Its tortoise btw)

I am at a bit at a loss of what to suggest tortoise, maybe someone else has some suggestions. If it's any help I knew what was stopping me from losing weight was chocolate and biscuits, so in September I decided that that was what I was giving up, just for the month. I just wanted to proof to myself that I could do it. I did it and the weight has started moving again. I am now at the point where I would be really disappointed with myself if I didn't keep the weight off and I am looking forward to losing more, I have just 5lbs more to lose then I will have lost a stone for 2006.

wow Smalline You are doing well. I have managed 2 weeks without once so guess i can do it again.
Maybe the rest of the ladies will have some ideas.I will check back tomorrow and weigh myself too.
Thanks.

Smalline · 23/10/2006 23:41

ok 11stone 8 for mr this week ladies

HeavyBee · 24/10/2006 20:02

Sorry I'm so late, my weight hasn't moved AGAIN. I shall have to give up cake altogether - after about a week I find it's ok, it's just that week is so vile. Also I made chocolate cornflake cakes and raspberry muffins today as we had visitors.... I did put the rest in the freezer, though.

As for the dangerous munchies time when the children are in bed, I clean my teeth when they do and then nothing tastes nice.
