Has anyone tried Diet Chef?

I have just used a Groupon deal for Diet Chef and have ordered one month's supply of food.
I just wondered if anyone else has tried it and, if so, what was the food like and did it work for you?

Well if you're interested Vivienne the Groupon deal is 28 days for £95 which is much cheaper than usual.
I ordered mine yesterday and its being delivered today so certainly no problems with customer service so far.

Sorry, OP, I tried DietChef on a Groupon deal and found most of the stuff really grim. (A friend did very well with the Jenny Craig programme, which included their food products and weigh-ins, meetings and so on.)

Thanks INeed I'll look into it. Trying to eat healthily at the moment and lost about 7 lbs since November but have stalled.

There was a mn tester trial a whole ago. Worth checking out for reviews.

I seem to remember a unanimous vote to avoid the mushroom stroganof! I'll dig around and see if I can find it for you op

Thanks Optimist I have seen mixed reviews about the food quality. At least if it is awful I won't have paid full price for it!

Diet chef testers feedback thread.

I thought it was totally revolting and ended up chucking most in the bin. So much nicer calorie controlled food to be had. It's really a last last resort

I had been a customer for 10 months, good weight loss at first, plateau'd after about 5 months.

However god help you if there is ever an issue with their service.

just had an appalling experience trying to recover costs when they duplicated an order in error (£190 straight out of my account), refusing to refund until the pack they despatched (which i refused) gets back to them, ca 8 weeks !!!!!!!

Read the thread "Scammed by Diet Chef" my experience is almost exactly the same as the poor pensioner who started that thread 2 years ago. Truly appalling customer service. Kevin Dorran the chef who puts his name to it should be ashamed.

Horrible. I did it a few years ago and it seems to be made of msg. very gloopy. not nice.
