Losing weight after Lighter Life/ Cambs Diets

Hi

I'm wondering if anyone else is in the same boat as me. I have done Lighter Life twice and Cambridge once. Each time I have lost 2 stone, but each time I have put it all back on. I know it's my fault because I haven't monitored my weight and have gone back to eating normally, but this has happened despite a very healthy diet and lots of exercise - I certainly haven't binged after them.

The problem I have though, is I am now in a situation where unless I do a VLCD I don't seem to be able to lose ANY weight. I exercise a lot with a mixture of heavy weights and cardio and have a personal trainer who has helped with a nutrition plan, which I have been following since Oct last year - but I have stayed the same in both weight and measurements.

I can only think that I have destroyed my metabolism with these VLCDs. Has or is anyone else in a similar situation? Does anyone have any advice on how I can lose weight effectively, but not through a VLCD. I want to make a life change this time doing something sustainable that I can maintain for a lifetime.

Any thoughts would be great.

Try 5:2
You have damaged your metabolism, but nothing that cannot be repaired.
What the VLCDs do not do is teach you the correct normal for your happy weight
Which is exactly what 5:2 will do.
