So what do all you dieters eat? I've just started a diet and struggling for ideas for what to eat. I have had porridge for breakfast and some Greek style yoghurt with pecan nuts and dried fruit for dinner and now I'm worried these foods are bad for dieting. Any tips anyone.

Have you looked into basic nutrition to see what constitutes a balanced diet.

Maybe SW would help you if you join, get the books, get the knowledge, then go it alone.

SW promote a balanced diet and would make a good starting point for you.

Join the low carb bootcamp on here, its fab, it works and i dont feel hungry and- starts monday. Turns everything you ever thought about dieting on its head. I lost 1st 7 lbs in 10 weeks and i am rubbish at dieting! Plus loads of support and you dont need to fork out for classes!

Something that helps me is after dinner in the evening (when I am full) I make a lunch box up for the following day that has my lunch and two snacks in. This is all I allow myself to eat until DH gets in for dinner the following evening. That way I am really mindful about what im eating and dont feel tempted to snack or graze.
