Is anyone else currently on the Sarah Wilson I Quit Sugar Programme?

Looking for any advice and/or encouragement, just started week 1 of the 8 week programme. Going by her book rather than her online programme as it costs 150 AUD!!

im wondering why it takes 8 weeks to quit sugar, I am a self confessed sugar junkie...but I give up all sugar including fruit, sweeteners like honey or the artificial kind and stay off it...usually until I get smug and think I can just have a little bit. I stopped on 1 Jan and I haven't thought much about it after the first couple of days.

Good luck with it, once you get your head in the right place, the cravings drop off pretty quickly.

I'll confess I haven't read the book (although I did read an article on her a while ago) but I can't understand why it would take 8 weeks either! I don't eat refined sugar but I do eat fruit (in limited amounts). In my experience, it's a sensible way to do it and I didn't need a book to guide me.

I have the cookbooks but can't afford to do the 8 week programme. I do eat a lot of fruit & am just trying to take away the basics from this - so no cereals, no processed food including sauces, breads, pastas etc. I have lost weight, though health rather than weight is my concern & importantly I'm not nearly as tired as I do get that awful 3pm energy crash now but god I am bored of it, esp breakfast I just can't think what to eat!!
