Like many people I'm starting a weight loss plan this week. Mine is calorie based but whatever yours is shall we share a few meal ideas? I get so bored of my repertoire.
One of my favourites is spicy chickpeas:
Fry an onion in small amount of oil or ghee.
Drain a tin of chick peas and mushup half of them with the juice from the tin.
To the onion add the whole chick peas and a heaped teaspoon of cumin ( can add ground coriander too). Fry for a few mins.
Add a tin of chopped tomatoes, the mushed chick peas and tin juice, a squirt of tom purée, some garlic, chili if you fancy it. Cook for about 20 mins.
I add chopped coriander to serve.
Under 500 calories I think. I eat the whole lot ( therein lies my problem!)
