Who wants to critique my daily menu?!

I'm ebf-ing 13 week old DS. This has given me a head start weight loss wise but I'm actively trying to get healthier by changing my diet and exercising more.

Breakfast: Oats so simple sachet made with unsweetened almond milk, topped with raspberries and blueberries.

Lunch: Roast beetroot, sweet potato and feta (very little feta) salad with spinach, rocket and watercress and a light drizzle of balsamic + olive oil.

Afternoon snack: 2 slices seeded bread toasted with proper butter. On some days I have a ramekin of full fat vanilla Greek yogurt.

Dinner: Baked salmon fillet with homemade ratatouille.

Minimum 2 litres of water and a few cups of tea. I'm also walking 5-6 km every night with the mutt (very brisk pace).

I usually come in at around 1400 calories and am losing well.

I'm just having a wobble about DS after a couple of restless nights. He seems to be feeding as normal though.

Amazing, have you all did that on your daily menu?
Till when are you planning to follow that diet plan?

Hi there, Your diet is great in terms of nutritional content. Just be careful not to drop intake too low - especially as you have a greater pull on your calorific needs! If I would change anything, it would be to use whole milk on the breakfast - or even have less processed oat based meal with whole milk or natural yoghurt.

In due course add some resistance training little by little and you will see the results improve even more!

I can't imagine how you're ebfing on that amount of food!

Quality is great but quantity wouldn't have been enough for me when ebfing DD I ate like a horse and still lost weight.

Your DS will be fine the babies tend to take what they need but I am surprised you're not keeling over.
