As most of you know I now look after the MN Mamas spreadsheet. We have had many new members over the last few weeks (welcome) and I have noticed that the spreadsheet is becoming very big. There are probably more inactive members (sorry couldn't think of a better expression) than active members and I wondered if anyone would mind if I deleted members after say 12 weeks of no contact. This would make the spreedsheet more readable and easier to manage.

Of course there will be no barrier to anyone who hasn't been in contact for 12 weeks and been deleted for them to join again. MN Mamas email - mn.bigmamas(at)virgin(dot)net.

If anyone has any comments or questions about this please post them here. Thanks.

Seems fine to me Demented. 12 weeks with no contact seems a long time, and as you say, people can rejoin if they want.

BTW, I will probably be back with you again either this Thursday or next!

Nobody seems to disagree so I'll go with deleting after 12 weeks no contact.

Thought I would just post this here too incase anyone misses it:- Apologies to all those whose mails didn't get through. We are having some e-mail problems just now, my DH brought some mails through with Mailwasher (anti-spam programme) and thinks he may have marked some of your mails as spam, which would bounce them back, sorry! He has suggested that I ask you all to put Mumsnet in the subject heading and hopefully that will alert him enough not to delete them. Sorry again.
