Do you think this could motivate us a little more?
We make pick up some tips from each other.

My day today so far:-

Wednesday - Green Day
Free Food so far - apple, banana, grapes, coffee, water,
Healthy A - 250ml Semi-Skimmed Milk

I know I haven't eaten enough and am feeling absolutely starving. I haven't had five minutes to make myself something decent to eat as I've been at work for six hours then had to rush back and get kids. 4.30pm - this is the time of day that temptation gets hold of me and I want to dive for a coffee and the jar of biscuits

Green day:
Breakfast: Low fat yogurt, 42g shredded wheat bitesize (heb), sliced melon
Lunch: Veggie quiche, 30g grated cheese (hea), green salad

Bl**dy starving and about to cook:
Dinner: Baked beans on wholemeal toast (heb), mullerlight and fruit.

Sparkler! That isn't nearly enough to eat. Those are my snacks for the morning!! What do you take to eat at work? Go and grab a muller light before you reach for the biscuits.

I've had:
Apple
Grapes
Re-heated pork ratatouille thing
One biscuit at toddler group (not sure why the venue was so important)
A hi-fi bar
and tonight Gammon, jacket spud, p's and coleslaw.

Come on Sparkler, you've been doing really well so far.

Yes you can do SW without going to class as there are quite a few people on here who are not doing the classes (myself included). YOU MUST NOT BE AFRAID TO EAT! I find that the MORE I eat (of freefoods) the more I lose. Have lost 16lb in 5 weeks and can honestly say that I have not been starving once. Keep talking to us.

evansmummy · 15/10/2006 09:37

MorticiaRed is definitely right. The free foods are there to help you lose weight. Especially if you think of the so-called 'speed and super-speed' foods which actually aid weight loss (even though they're not always 'free'). So the more you eat of those, the more you lose weight! This is what's so goo about SW - you can eat as much of you like of the right things, and lose a lot of weight! You won't put on weight if you eat lots of free food, the SW plans are designed so that you don't! Trust the nutrionists!!

I've been at SW since January and have lost two and a half stone, so far. And the weeks where I've had the best weight losses are the weeks where I've planned my meals well in advance, shopped for the ingredients for the week, and especially, eaten lots of Speed foods (things like lentils, kidney beans, turkey and chicken, apples, grapefruits...)

Please just ask for any advice you need, we're all here to give each other a hand!
