Fed up yo yoing or starting and giving up. If I, just sensible and move more ( thinking 3 x run and a class a week) . What is a sensible amount of time to expect to lose a stone in?

I think 1-2 lb a week is sustainable long term without any daft fad diets. Rule of thumb ( though oversimplified) is you need a calorie deficit of 500kcals per day to lose 1lb a week. It's easier to do that through eating less than through moving more, but the exercise is good for your general health and to build muscle and increase your metabolism, so a combination is good. Split the difference and say 10 weeks to lose a stone? Often you lose a lot in the early stages of a diet then loss slows or plateaus, but a good fortnight to kick off could get you maybe half a stone lighter?
