I am 55 years and 12stone 7llbs and hate the way I look and feel. I have recently been diagnosed with thyroid, liver and stomach problems following contracting Lymes disease earlier this year. I have been seeing a dietician / nutritionist who has said I need to increase my Iodine levels. I have followed this advice and have been eating well I would say 90% of the time but am putting more and more weight on. Can anyone help please. I am at a loss at what to do now, but would love to lose around 2 - 3 stone.

I would recommend using the Myfitnesspal website or download the app. It is free.
I have been using it since mid June and have lost 1st 7lbs.
You are basically calorie counting and log everything you eat. To start with you weigh your portions. You can store the details of regular meals. Myfitnesspal has a huge database, so when you search for the food, you will usually find it. You can also sacn barcodes if you use the app.
It makes you really aware of portion control.
