Need to lose 5st! I need some HELP!!!!!!!

5 fucking stone!

I have really let things slide and tomorrow is my start date. But I don't know where to be in or how to do it.

I have just hit 15 stone.
Height is 5ft6. BMI of 32/33.

I am 24, two dcs (4years and 6mnths). Have been incredibly depressed.

I need to get eating better and moving a lot more.

According to nhs website I need to lose 5st n 5 lbs to be within a healthy weight range.

Help me.

I've lost 5 stone very recently using My Fitness Pal, 30 Day Shred and walking a lot.

It hasn't been easy but well worth it. I have another 2 stone to go.

One day one meal at a time is the only wayHmm but I meal plan and have a treat once a weekGrin
DP needs to lose 6 stone and get his cholesterol down
Our favourite breakfast is
3 egg whites and 1 yolk
Spinach, onion, mushroom, tomato
1 spray of low cal oil fry off veg add eggs and in 4 min you have a yummy omelette if u know anyone in catering ask can they buy you a litre of egg white wholesale it is much cheaper

Hi flo, some of us are trying to lose 2 stone by Christmas - come join us for mutual support and tips! Some people on the thread need to lose more than that (including me) but it'd be a good start...

I have just lost 2 stone, 2 left to go using my fitness pal. You log all your meals and it tells you how many calories your allowed/ have left.

I have just lost 8kg in 5 weeks using MyFitnessPal. My BMI has gone down from 30 to 27. I have also started bodyweight training and I am pleased with the results.

Hi everybody! Thank you for all your lovely replies!

I set up the fitness pal app today. Love it. Lays everything out so clearly.

Just tried to eat balanced today.

Weetabix with green milk for breakfast.

Apple and carrot sticks mid morning.

Two eggs scrambled with tomatoes on wholemeal toast for lunch.

Handful of raisins for mid afternoon snack.

Spinach and ricotta pasta with chicken, broccoli and tomatoes for dinner.

I need to up my veg intake massively.

Anybody got any good low fat and low sugar but sweet snack ideas??

Had a brisk 45 mins walk this morning pushing dd in pram.

Going to dig out the old wii fit later to do some muscle excersices.

Feel a bit clueless really.

But taking it day by day and see what happens.

Weirdly, I find full fat better than low fat. It keeps me fuller for longer and doesn't contain hidden sugar. I have full fat milk, cheese and yoghurt and have lost more weight than on a low fat diet!

I second Angus. Don't bother about the fat, but try to ditch the sugar. Try to include protein in all your meals, including your snacks.

Unless you want to use sweeteners, I am afraid there aren't any low sugar, sweet snacks Sad. Find something you really like and include it in your diet. Today I will have a small pancake with a teaspoon of golden syrup. Yesterday I had a couple of Jaffa cakes. I allow myself about 150kcal/day for a treat, everyday, and I am losing weight.

I saw somebody dry frying blackberries to bring out their natural sweetness, I'm going to give it a go as they're in season and very low cal for fruit. I think 100g blackberries with a tablespoon of double cream is just 97 calories and actually quite good for you :-)

Oh and the NHS website tells me to lose 3 stone 6lbs. I don't know how I let it get this bad but there you go Confused
