Breastfeeding and the last few pounds of baby weight

Had ds2 16 weeks ago and am EBF. Have lost 3 stone so far of pregnancy weight and have 5 pound left to go but seem to be stuck now. Was told its likely this will stay on as 'fat reserves' for breastfeeding..... What's everyone's experience of this? I have found that if I reduce my calories too much, it does affect my milk supply and obviously ds2 is more important than my vanity but just wondered. Lost all my baby weight quickly with ds1 as developed an overactive thyroid pp which is now controlled.

hello! my baby is 13 weeks and im similar to you.

I put on 4 stone and have about 10lbs left to lose.

you can lose 2lb a week and it won't affect your milk. im losing 2 or 3 a week and milk is fine!

have you done anything in particular to get the weight off? I have been trying to walk at least 40 mins every day and eating sensibly with treats only at the weekend!
