Took fucking long enough!

The holidays fucked it up tbh as I havent been able to get to the gym, that and going totally off plan (low carbing) for a week on hols, you cant eat out in the UK on a budget and not have carbs it seems! Everything with chips....

I amd 5' 6" and started at 93kg (14.6 stone...I know Blush) and am now 79.8kg (12.5 stone) and my target is somewhere between 11 and 11.5 stone. Sounds a lot but I am a size 10 at 11 stone, I must have a really heavy head or something :o

Sorry, no point to this, just wanted to share!

wow, well done! How long did it take you to go from 93 to 80 kg?

Bogeyface · 01/09/2014 11:40

Well all told, about 18 months, but I did it in 2 stages.

First stage, 93 to 85 (ish) took about 4/5 months low carbing. Then I plateau'd and didnt really diet. It was a stressful time and I didnt really care what I weighed, was more worried about putting one foot in front of the other! Then when H was diagnosed with type 2 back in May he wanted to lose weight so we started low carbing together from then so about 4 months to go from 85 to just under 80.

I hope to be at my target by my birthday in May next year. Not worried about doing it quickly, just doing it!

Well done! I am 5'7 and I got under 80kg very recently. What is nice is that the more weight you lose, the more difference 1kg makes.
My target is also 11st. After more than a decade of eating disorders, I have at last realised that 8.5st is not realistic.
