What is realistic whilst breast feeding?

Baby is 8 weeks old and thriving but I'm getting tired of the baby weight now. DS is going back to school next week so can start doing a workout during the day, do you think it'd be ok to do one every other day?
I'd like to do slimfast as a way of kick starting the weight loss, is this ok to do while feeding?

The Kellymom website has some interesting info on dieting whilst breastfeeding. They recommend eating at least 1500-1800 calories a day, aiming for maximum loss of 1.5-2.2lb a week. Losing fat more rapidly can release stored toxins into milk or cause a drop in supply. WW and SW both do plans for breastfeeding ( allowing additional points or healthy extras)
I don't know much about slim fast but think it would probably limit your calories/ nutrient intake too much?
I'm BF and trying to lose weight, my baby is 3m old and I have 20lb to lose. I've joined the 1st Sept thread to get back on the wagon after summer holiday, if you'd like to accompany me?
