I need to shift 11/2to 2 stone. I think a group would guilt me into sticking to it. I'm veggie if that makes a difference. Any advice?

Never done sw but my sister did. I am a ww. Got to goal 2 years ago but now weight usually is anything between 9 and 9 1\2. I am not really that strict with myself but love that I can slip back into it when I have something special coming up or I have been naughty a few too many we. It really helped me because nothing is a sin sovif I wanted something bad I could just point it up. My sis didn't get to goal but her friends did. I think sw does not encourage portion control and my sis used to take that quiet literally as if its free then its ok. Could eat a 16oz gammon then eat left over meat of someone else plate if she could cut fat off. That approach wouldn't work for me either.

I like the easy points system which took a while to get my head round but now pretty much know points of everything.

WW all the way. I lost 1 and 1/2 stone in a few months and my best friend lost 2 stone over a year and then became a leader! We've both had babies at the beginning of the year and are back on it.

Personally I just find it easy to follow and it helps break you of some bad food habits. Knowing the points in certain things makes me eat so much better - I'd much rather have a roast dinner for 8 points than 4 biscuits....
