Clean eating. Still no weight loss!

I started clean eating 6 or so months ago, I'm coeliac and found this way of eating suits me.

However I've not lost 1lb not 1 sodding lb!!

I don't eat any processed foods, low fat or high sugar. Chocolate or breads, pasta cakes etc.

So where am I going wrong? I'm starting to feel like fresh air is the only way to lose weight!

Hi - are you doing any exercise? And have you had your thyroid function checked?

I'm coeliac and overweight - the only thing that's started to shift some weight is running/going to the gym. I've also got an under active thyroid which makes it more difficult and thyroid and coeliac sometimes tend to go together.

It's a total pain - although my downfalls are sweets and wine, so I can't say I don't know why I'm overweight - but it does seem I can't get away with as much as other people..!

Hi yes I exercise, I run 3 x a week and also do weight training. My thyroid function is normal.

It's just a big pain in the arse!

Blimey! In which case I'd blame it on muscle mass - have you changed shape rather than lost weight..?

How controlled are your portions? When I started losing weight I weighed out a recommended portion size of whatever it was I was eating and, more often than not, was horrified by how small it was. Clean eating is kind of meaningless for weight loss unless you're controlling quantities as well.
