Well, I haven't seen Madame Butterfly around for quite a while (hope she's ok), so will start a thread.

Felt good to be walking again this week, and the school run routine definitely helps me get totals up. That said, I didn't achieve goal this week because of that old lack-of-sufficient-steps-on-the-weekend syndrome!

My total for the week:

59,220

How did everyone else do?

I can definitely relate to that weekend feeling. Thanks to the school and pre-school run my total for last week was 77,103 steps.

MadameButterfly · 17/09/2006 14:10

Sorry about that.

My pedometer broke and not got around to replacing it yet.

Excuse me shyly peers head round door how many steps are you supposed to do in a week, and can anyone join? quickly runs out of room

Earlybird · 19/09/2006 06:58

Hello MA - no need to be shy. We start counting from Sat morning (or midnight Fri if you're still up and about), and monitor steps until end of the evening the following Friday. We aim for 10,000 steps a day, which is 70,000 per week. Make sure you program your pedometer so it is set for your stride. That should give you get a vaguely accurate total.

Feel free to join us - always good to have more people to cheer each other on!
