Hi I did slimming world and lost over 2 stone, but you dont eat proper meals,it was either all veg and a bit of meat or all meat and small veg,i had enough, lost all the weight, ended up pregnant with no 4,and put it back on lol,but was a lot slimmer after the baby.decided to do w/w,i love it as you get a certain amount of points,i get 20,depends on your weight to how many points you get.So brekfast,i have porridge thats 2 points, and so on until i get to 20,there is free food aswell which are no points,i must admit the first 2 weeks i was a bit hungary, probably stomach shrinking, but im ok now.and can eat normal meals.good luck.

Good luck! I've been going to WW for 6 weeks now and really enjoy it - honest! Definitely stay for the meetings - if nothing else it's an hour out of the house and your ordinary routine to think about yourself and food and changing habits. My top tips:

Drink tons of water
Eat lots of fruit throughout the day - I've switched from snacking on sweets to snacking on grapes - am getting through a couple of boxes a day!
be prepared to feel a bit rough for the first week as your body has a shock at the lack of sugar being put in it (well, I certainly felt awful for the first few days - but it goes)
Eat your meals on a smaller plate - makes my simple mind still think I'm getting lots to eat, whereas I've actually probably halved my meal portions.

Good luck!!

Good luck! Would echo what everyone says about it being fab. Fill up on the free fruit and veg - easy to get your 5 a day on it. My best tip is to keep going. It is very easy when you have a bad week to think "I've blown it, I'll stick to it this week and go next week" but I found that those were the times when I needed the group support the most. I also felt that if I was paying £5 a week I was more likely to stick with it.

If you keep on going in a few weeks you'll see a real difference. Go for it!

I was pleasantly surprised, I didn't weigh as much as I thought I would. My Leader has given me a trget of 7lb over the next few weeks. Fingers crossed I can stick to it
