I am currently training every other day either running or PT sessions.

I have 7lbs to shift by July 10th, I am awful for snacking..I'm a bored eater.

Any tips to keep me motivated and drop those lbs?

Ice water. Freeze the bottles, sip sip sip, keeps me out of the fridge. I will gloss over the square of chocolate I've just eaten.

How are you finding have a PT? DH spots me on free weights, I have a trial session tomorrow with a guy who may help push a bit further but I'm sceptical as to whether they're worth the price.

I use protein shakes after workouts to repair and build, I make them up with water, they're sugar and fat free but taste like a treat. My gym sells them, maybe worth considering if you're working hard every day.

Snack - just have the right types of snacks measure out and ready.

So many people do snack wrong because they want to grab something so sugary cereal bars and crisps.

I am guilty of this. I have things in small lunch boxes or sandwich bags ready to grab if I want to eat on the go etc.

  • nuts, seeds, dried apricots etc
  • grapes & blueberries
  • carrot sticks
  • rice cakes

Hope this helps. Good luckWink
