I've lost a few pounds this week, my waist it looking good and I can see my muscles again.

I know it's not a true 'loss' and just my body's reaction to a week of healthy choices and exercise. I'm working out a lot so the scales will probably go back up next week as I get onto an even keel, I'm dreading it. I felt lovely in my maxi dress last night. Sad

I know why it happens, but it's so disheartening.

I think it is a true loss. If you have had a week of healthy choices and exercise, then your body is showing that, and if you continue to make these choices the weight/toned figure will continue!

Just as if you ate like a pig all week and did nothing, you would put on weight. Don't do that though Grin.

Well done on the loss and keep it up!

weight is weight is weight. (strictly you are losing 'mass')

eat less than you burn off, get thinner. That is what is happening.
