Too much exercise?

Had the day off yesterday so I did 2 shreds (only just started so level 1) and a 45 min gym session. I didn't do it all in one go as had appointments and other things to do but today I feel awful. I have no energy and left work early as I feel so bad.
Have I done too much?

Maybe you are catching something?
You do need to eat properly and drink lots of water and get your salt levels back after gym sessions, particularly if you sweat a lot.

I'm the same, ran yesterday and again this morning and thought I was going to pass out at work! Felt sick, dizzy, overtired. Had to eat something and have a double espresso to feel half normal

Yes, you can exercise too much and deplete your body.
It needs time to recover while you build up your fitness.

How much exercise do you regularly do?

barkinginessex · 11/06/2014 08:12

I normally do 2.5 hours at the gym every week and lots of walking. I didn't think the 30 day shred would hurt as much but I'm still in pain today and have no energy.

Everyone 's different; some people do very well with walking, dancing and some pilates type slow stretches (me Blush) I lost 3 stone and have a waist which I never did even when i was a size 8!

Other people are good with running and jumping about at the gym. Do what suits you. If you usually lack energy and feel tired it might be a wheat intolerance.
