ie, dont measure exact portions, change from green day to red day half way through a day etc?

hello again
I reckon you could - although obviously it wouldn't be a great deal every month and probably not consistent.
If you think about the free food on SW - there is so much of it, what you really need to do is cut out the "sins" and try not to have too many or too big portions of HEs.

The only things you really have to measure out is your healthy extras anyway. There is a mix to match plan in which you can swap from green to red in a day but only have 3 meals and if you are having syns go for the highest value (ie red or green) when you are counting them.

I've never weighed anything and I've had more syns than I'm meant to on more than one day and I've still lost. I've been going for about 3 or 4 months now and put half a pound one week, and that was after 10 days camping when I didn't stick to the plan at all. Other than that I've maintained once and lost every other week, 1 stone 5lbs in total. I'm not sticking to it religiously but as I'm losing each week I'm carrying on with what I'm doing.

Just find it really hard atm - am bfing so get extra healthy extras but find it all a bit confusing

Also a bit wary of letting myself go hungry in case it effects my milk supply

jacket spuds and beans - free on green and very filing. Put a bit of grated cheese on top as a HE and you're laughing

Yeah or syn free chips are free on green too and you can have as much as you like. I think doing green days are probably your best bet as you can still have some meat/fish but also fill up on all the free carbs that are on offer.

I stave off hunger with fruit.
