Best way to lose half a stone fast?

I've had a very stressful few weeks and have really let my healthy eating go to pot, my belly area has piled it on rather quickly (not pg) and my bottom is expanding at an alarming rate
I'm a bridesmaid in 5 weeks! I really need to lose just over half a stone or my dress may not fit
Any recommendations? I can exercise every day apart from Sunday!
God I feel so ashamed of myself for letting a bad time get me down so much that I've out in nearly a stone and now feel even more upset

52 fast Stick to your max calories allowance in non fast days and you'll easily lose 1lb per day. (My fitness pal app is a big help).
30 day shred to tone up

I agree 5:2 is good if you are disciplined and can live with the hunger, oh and exercise like mad.

And get a bout of d&v.

Could you do something like slim fast or celebrity slim just until you lose the half a stone?

Best way is interval training and eating healthily.
You walk/jog at a regular space for 2 mins, then run like mad for 1 min. Do this for a good hour a day and the weight fall off. Remember to give yourself a day off every 2 ish days.

Meant to say, ' ... Run like mad for 1 min then go back to walk/jog for 2 mins, then run for 1 min. Repeat 'til the hour is up or you fall off the treadmill can run anymore.

I've tried slim fast but felt a bit counterproductive as there is so much sugar in the shakes
Never heard of Jason vale so will have a google
5:2 sounds appealing, what are the calorie limits for fast/non fast days?

Thanks for all the suggestions! I'm determined to do this and hopefully kick start a healthier lifestyle.
I already have the shred on DVD, never seen it through so will make an effort this time and will try to get to the gym twice a week

Fast days are 500
Non fast I stick to 1200 which is what my phone app tells me I need to eat to lose 1lb a week
Saturday I don't Count calories.

There's a big thread on here with lots of tips etc. fast days are tough, but it works.

Great thanks for the info, will go and have lurk on the 5:2 thread. Going to start 30ds tomorrow and going to combine with the 30 day challenges (abs and squats)

I discovered Jason Vale a couple of months ago, lost 6llb in 5 days and have kept it off. It's changed the way I eat as well.

Another one ere who did Jason vale - 6lbs in 7 days.

Also though my favourite diet I've ever done that I'm currently 9 days into - google 'so feminine lemonade diet' I've lost 6lbs so far on a half term week where I couldn't get to the gym to exercise!

And I get to eat 3 meals and 2 snacks a day. I've honestly never felt better. People have been commenting that I'm glowing. My nails, hair and skin even look better.

Redcoats you're not supposed to eat so little on non-fast days! The idea is that your fast days account for the weight loss on their own, and you eat to TDEE on other days, otherwise your metabolism slows down.

(Disclaimer: this is the theory. If it works for you in practice, though...)

If you want to lose it fast, groupon have a deal on the nutrologie 6 week bikini body plan. It's 48 quid instead of 94. Looks good.

Or there's clean 9. I lost 11lbs on that and kept it off.

Long term 5:2 is amazing Grin
