VLCD support and advice

Hello, I can't seem to find a current VLCD thread so I'm starting my own Smile if there is one please point me in the right direction.
I am starting exante today. I've sent DH downstairs with the kids because I seem to think delaying breakfast will make it easier.
I have never done a VLCD before (but have done every other diet under the sun).
I intend to do it 100% when I can but try to just stick to vaguely low carb on 'occasions', for example I am away on a hen weekend on Friday. I know it will be hard because I'll have to go through the pre ketosis stage again but I don't really know what else to do.
Hoping to meet other people doing a VLCD.

Hello,

I did the Cambridge diet for three months and I lost three and a half stone. I kept it off which I'm proud of and am a healthy BMI.

If you are on Facebook I can recommend a slim and save official group. I know you're not following this diet but they share low carb recipes and there are some brilliant ones. You honestly won't feel as if you're dieting. I'm not a very good cook so I just tended to do the packs but now I'm off Cambridge I still limit my carbs.

Good luck Flowers

That's great to hear of someone who managed to keep the weight off. Fantastic Grin you must be really proud, well done.
Other than DH I don't want anyone to know I'm doing it (for now anyway) so I need to stay away from fb groups at the moment. I make take a peek though.

Just hard first 'meal' - vanilla milkshake. It was nice, smelt like I've cream!

Hi choc I've just got back from picking up my Cambridge diet packs and I'm just about to have my first shake. I did it once before about twenty years ago and lost three stone. I've got about three and a half stone to lose this time. I'm glad you started this thread I couldn't find one either .
