I have always been big and hated myself but now I have 6month old DD I need to shift this weight.
problem is I'm pretty clueless about losing weight. I have MFP and have been using it the last few weeks with no success.

can I have a kick up the bum to lose this weight please?

Can't say I'll be much help as only been mfp just over a week but if ya need a buddy it's the same username as here with a small s.

How long have you been doing it? It's definitely a slow results one isn't it.

I've lost 5lb in the first few days and it's since stopped but I'm trying to be optermistic.

I've got a big birthday party on 28th And it's fancy dress so I neeeeeed to lose something anything!

Are you weighing and measuring everything you're logging on MFP? I find it great (I've lost 3stone so far) but you do have to be careful with some of the entries - double check them against packets or do a quick google until you have a list of regular items that you can rely on. A few things I used to get me started were: drink a glass of water before putting any food in your mouth, use a side plate for dinners until you get used to smaller portions, chop all dinner ingredients really small so it seems like there's more of it, remember that you're unlikely to expire from hunger if you have to wait an hour for dinner. Good luck, you'll get there!
