Hi, my name is gotobloodysleep and I make the wrong food choices and I have an extreme sweet tooth Confused

I'm 9 weeks postpartum. 2 pregnancies in 2 years and my stomach is a mess. About a year after ds1 I started the 5:2 and saw great results. Then I fell pregnant with ds2 and am now ebf so can't start 5:2 again (can I?). I find dieting extremely hard, I start the day well (sometimes) but by the end of the day I've scoffed all the cake and biscuits, eaten 2 dinners and am hunting around the kitchen for more Shock

I need to start exercising but don't have anytime to myself. Dp works terrible hours so I have the kids all day. We live in a different country so no family near by and air pollution is a big issue so can't always take the kids for walks. But of course these just turn out to be excuses. I have downloaded a davina DVD but never seem to manage to get all the way through it by myself.

Come and share your confessions, stories and tips. Maybe together we can create our own 12 point system to a healthy and happy body.

You could try not dieting and eating when your hungry and stopping when you are satisfied rather than getting yourself all hung up on how you can avoid food. Anyway, your breastfeeding so cut yourself a little slack. If you are fully breastfeeding then your baby will be wanting a lot of top quality nutritionally sound milk and you are the one to provide that. Try making sure that you are eating nutritionally balanced meals and then have cakes etc when you need them (good quality cakes that are homemade are best). You should be eating more than usual at the moment too not less to keep your milk supply up.
