Ok, I'm finally doing a 3 day detox with nutri juice. It's a no eating cleanse deal, where I'm told that I'll lose between 9 lbs and a stone. I'd better or I want a refund! anyway, am starting tmrw and am nervous! I LOVE my food and am going to he hungry!!!!ConfusedConfused

Problem is you are likely to gain it all back once you start eating again! But interested to see how you get on. If you don't gain it back I might try one!

I know that's the fear, but I'm going to give it a go and then go back on weight watchers. I've got 2 - 3 stone to shift and then keep off!Shock

cleanse?

detox?

I hope your kidney, bowels and bladder are functioning normally. If so, they are doing all this for you.

any product that carries the word 'detox' is a scam. Not eating is a ghastly abuse of good health. Please don't.

My step mother is a nutritionist and she and another have written this detox for a company. It's 4 juices a day filled with all sorts of veg, fruit, oils and seeds and lots of water drunk in between. Am feeling ok after 1st day Grin

surely no nutritionist would talk about detox?

eat less crap, yes - but the body 'detoxes' itself by the mechanisms mentioned.

taking in so few calories will result in weight loss, obviously. It will all go straight back on again if lifestyle changes aren't made.
