Hi, I'm new. I'm 42 and I've been steadily putting on weight for two years - a stone in total. Should be 8.7 and am now 9.7. I know it's not crazy overweight but none of my clothes fit and I don't like being this wobbly. It makes me feel old.

It's mostly because I am so tired/busy as a working mum with two pre-schoolers. Well that and drinking wine most evenings.

I ordered shred last night as I've heard great things about it (look on google images!) I'm going to start calorie counting today and start the DVD as soon as it comes. I'm determined to prioritise it and find 30 minutes every day to do it.

Does anyone want to join me? It'd be good to post progress to stay motivated.

Hiya I would like to join you! I'm 39 and have always battled with weight but lost 3.5 stone after the birth of DD3.

I had an op in January this year and have put on around ten pounds since then. As I am only 5'2" I look huge. I've got a work event at the beginning of April that I need to shift some pounds for.

I'm going calorie count and run (and perhaps sneak a look at the Shred on YouTube).
