250 (ish) calorie lunch and breakfast ideas?

Does anyone have good ideas for lunch and breakfast that come in at around 250 calories and are reasonably sustaining.

I've started using my fitness pal and I think it is really useful but slightly alarmed by the number of calories that are in my normal food compared to how many calories i should be consuming!

I need to lose weight but i don't want it to affect the rest of the family who are all a healthy weight so i want to carry on eating our normal evening meal. If i could change breakfast and lunch hopefully it'll be enough .

Thanks...

Wholemeal pitta bread with cottage cheese, sweet corn and shredded lettuce.

Boots shaper sandwich

Jacket potato with cottage cheese or tuna

That's all I can think off for now, but I usually but my lunch whilst at work and check the calories before purchasing, usually an m&s count on us meal or a boots shaper.

Porridge for breakfast with skimmed milk - helps you feel fuller for longer, then blueberries or satsuma for the 11' I clock hunger pangs.

I do porridge for breakfast - 1/3 cup measure of oats, 2/3 milk and 1/3 water with 1 dessert spoon of ground almonds and 1 tsp agave syrup comes in at under 250 cals.

Lunch - 1 chicken breast (150 cal) sliced up and fried in 1 tbsp oil (120 cal), loads of veg, peppers, courgette, asparagus etc (I count these as zero cals) and a good shake of a schwarz flavour shaker, very filling lunch for 270 cals.

There are some excellent ideas thanks....I like the sound of chicken breast and veg. That would be really filling.

Most of my ideas so far have involved lentils or beans. Very filling and very low calorie but blimey....I think I need a break from the pulses.

i also haven't had cottage cheese for years. I used to quite like it.

Thank you all X
