My sister and I are on a mission to get toned and loose a few pounds, we are not into the gym, we prefer to do exersices at home, our other snob of a sister thinks we cant do it, so we have to proof her wrong

Pilates! Gentle and relaxing but boy it works.

Can't do links but can recommend "Better Body the Pilates way" (Lynne Robinson) DVD from Amazon.

I'd recommend walking, or if you're already in ok shape, running. Very good for weight loss, minimal equipment required.

a dvd? no idea which one though

If you don't mind sweating like a pig, Tae bo dvds are excellent. They deal with virtually every muscle in the body - although there are one which target specific areas (such as abs, or bums). You can get them cheaply on ebay.
