Trying to lose weight. I find I'm struggling at lunch times. I eat at home and try to have portion controlled things so I don't overeat. I'm having porridge at the moment, but it's not hitting the savoury spot. I also like crunch, and it also makes for a carby day.

Any suggestions for an easy to prepare satisfying, portion controlled lunch? My stomach thanks you in advance :-)

Homemade soup with a small wholemeal roll for dipping. My favourite is a punnet of mushrooms, an onion, a small potato and 500ml of stock.

Jacket potato with no butter and beans/small amount of cheese.

Omelette with lots of veg eg. onions/mushrooms, tomatoes and small amount of cheese.

Beans on slice of wholemeal bread. Or scrambled egg.

Sushi (shop bought).

I have lost 2 and a half stone and these have been my lunches.
