Im doing it but also BEASTING myself with 30 day shred.

Im not due a weigh in until tomorrow (although if i go to Sainsburys in a minute and they are selling scales in there, I will jump on)

Im 9st 13lb and want to get back down to about 8st 4

I am too, am.on the 52lbs in 52 weeks thread.

Bear in mind that any change in you eating habits will result in a swift drop of weight initially which will then become less and you may only lose 1 / 2 lbs a week from now on.

I say only but really it is the best way to lose - slow and steady wins the race.

good luck to you all. I cant believe it's come off so quickly and with not much effort. Ive just tried on some new work trousers ive had in my wardrobe for months that never fit, now they do! Sad to hear the weight loss may slow down but if so I might have to incorporate a bit of exercise.....might!

I love MFP, it's amazing what a difference it makes logging everything you shove into your mouth :)

But yes, the first weeks weight loss is always the best and it's usually a lot of fluid so don't be disheartened when it slows down. One pound a week is a perfect weight loss and generally the slower it comes off the longer it stays away.

Exercise is the key too so maybe try and find something you enjoy :)

ive lost 3lbs this week

bluebluecow · 13/01/2014 18:23

fantastic tiredemma. that's really good. i've got to try really hard not to weigh myself until next week. It's amazing how much better you can feel just by losing a couple of poundsSmile

....not just this week I should add!

Well done to everyone - Yes, the first weeks weight lose will be quite high, but it's still weight off and it really encourages you to keep going.
