Best way to lose weight in one month?

Hi, any advice welcome! I have a dress fitting in a months time and of course haven't lost any weight that I intended to! I'm 11 stone, would like to be 9 ultimately, obviously not aiming to lose two stone in a month just to feel better and trimmer by the fitting and build on that. I have a real sweet tooth now which mucks up all my diet attempts!

Reduce your carb intake, have main meal at lunch, soup for dinner as early as possible, cut alcohol as much as possible.

It's essentially my WeightWatchers plan, I'm following it again at the moment, my start and end weights are the same as yours and I'm 5lbs down since 2nd Jan. Aiming for a stone by end of Jan, the remaining stone by Easter.

Thanks. Yes I tried the newer weight watchers, it was good. Just couldn't stick to it having to count the 4 different things! Think I will revisit the diet I still have the stuff. The app was really good too.

I actually got the Dukan book out of the library on Monday. Are you not starving on it? The attack phase?

One month is all about changing eating habits, not losing weight, though you should aim to feel less bloated. It all depends on what you currently eat of course. Get off one stop early and walk into work from there, don't take the car in to do the shopping, wean yourself off sugar crap like drinks, choc, bananas, crisps and so on, concentrate on tasty, healthy meals with lots of protein, esp for breakfast.

And keep it as simple as possible.

Missushb · 10/01/2014 16:01

Dinner usually healthy, it's breakfast and lunch I struggle with. Any protein rich breakfast and lunch ideas? I feel I've been trying for so long and not getting anywhere, need to go right back to basics.

Three scrambled eggs, smoked salmon, gluten-free bread. Or bacon. Nice coffee.

Lunch fillet of salmon in microwave, mixed salad.

Look up the fbi diet book available for download on kindle app. Theres a facebook help group too. My friend is doing it and is loving it. Its a change to eating habits rather than a short term fix but the results are amazing from the start.

If you drink most nights do the January dryathalon , the weight will fall off

sebsmummy1 · 10/01/2014 17:24

I think any diet that increases lean protein and decreases refined carbs, sugar and fat is going to work. Im afraid Atkins never did for me, but Dukan and SW Originals worked for me.

Because protein fills you up you don't get hungry.
