Insomnia when low carbing

I am definitely in ketosis now. Done my homework and I know I'm not the only person struggling to get to sleep while low carbing. My brain seems to be working all the time at high speed. Has anyone found a way to deal with it? I do not want to eat carbs before bedtime just to ease that off, kind of defeats the purpose. Willing to try anything else. Tia.

Oh dear, I have been low carbing for a few years now and sleep fantastically well! I sleep less, but it is better quality and I feel very refreshed. I need to be mindful of the fact I need less sleep, 5 to 7 hours compared to 7 to 9 hours that I used to require. That did take a while to get used to. Now it is one of many reasons that I remain low carb. Do you exercise? Are you stressed?

I always get this when I enter ketostix after lots of carbs and it lasts about a week then normalizes.

I always get that when I'm in ketosis. And unfortunately it doesn't get better after a few weeks. I'll maybe try and exercise more. Now that I have too much time on my hands I might as well do that.
