I just did my first day!! and rather proud of myself but oh my god it's fucking ridiculously hard! haha , Level one and just used YouTube but from someone who's gone from sitting on the sofa all day to this with some 5 minute arm work out and daily squats.

Is anyone else doing it?

Well, glad that's over! Those jumping Jack's have reminded me that I need to work on my pelvic floor exercises as well....!

I did the level 1 o n the YouTube link above. How long do I do that for? I assume there is a level 2 at some point?

I actually did better than I thought I would. Can't do press-ups so had to do the beginners version, but other than that I only stopped once during the crunches, missed about 5 of them. I get the feeling bits might start aching soon though!

It's entirely up to you. I like to do 10 days per level; some people like to move on faster, others slower.

There are levels 2 and 3. I'm not sure they are available from youtube but the dvd is only a fiver (amazon or elsewhere)

Thanks Errol, I have just bought the DVD. Am feeling it in places I didn't know I still had today and that's just after 1 day!

ErrolTheDragon · 15/01/2014 18:02

Typically you'll feel it for the first 3-4 days and then it eases off - honestly, its worth sticking with beyond that point. Assuming you mean muscular aches - if you have joint pain, modify or swap moves, do not knacker your knees.

KirstyJC · 15/01/2014 18:43

I do get occasional arthritis in one knee but it only twinged a couple of times when doing the jumping jacks. It's the muscles that are complaining today - I am glad in a way, I thought I didn't have any! (I jokingly asked DH if I had any abs and he said he thought I had eaten them!GrinGrin)

It doesn't ache everywhere, just my back, shoulders, upper and lower arms, abs, and thighs! Grin.

Frankly, I think some exercise was long overdue!

I am going out for my birthday treat on Sat so I hope it is OK by then, although I am starting the day with a massage, which might be just as well!

I'm on day 8 now! 2 days to level two! On the plus side I ordered a treadmill tonight as it was in the sale for £129.99! Will be lovely and slender one day Wink

Hi can I join? I started this yesterday & found it ok, hoping I stick it out as I have at least 2 stone of baby weight to loose.

How's everyone else doing?

KirstyJC · 20/01/2014 17:43

I didn't do it on Sat as the only time I had was with 3 kids, DH, DM and her husband present and oddly enough I didn't fancy an audience!

The massage on Sat morning was a bit owey though. The back was OK, better than expected, but when she did my shoulders it really hurt, even though she was doing it really lightly!

I did it again last night, so that's 5 days now, and it went OK - I do think I am recovering my breathing more quickly than at the start which is really good. I didn't manage the last bit of the level 1 DVD yesterday - the bicycle crunches were just too hard and I ended up doing normal crunches for about half of it.Sad

Although about an hour later I felt a bit out of sorts, and checked my temp - 38.4! I am ill - thanks DS3.

So I am planning to do it tonight as the fever has now dropped to just over 37 but I will be sensible and if I really don't feel I can, then I will leave it. I just don't want to get into bad habits this early on!

DH and I have noticed a difference already from doing all those bum lift crunches though.....Wink
