(Apologies if this is not the right topic for this post).
I don't generally think fast weight-loss/crash dieting is a good idea (been there, done that, put it all back on again), but this is an edict from my GP. I've got large skin tag that needs to be removed, and as it is in an area of 'skin tension' on my body, my GP said it would be a good idea for me to lose a bunch of weight quickly immediately beforehand, as this makes the skin a bit looser and therefore the wound is less likely to pop open afterwards.
I'm a size 16-18, moderately active, don't follow the healthiest diet in the world, but my weight is pretty stable and I'm a bit scared of getting into a yo-yo weight loss/gain thing.
Also, some of the time my work is very active (heavy lifting, long hours, stressfull) and then at other times it's desk based and quite sedentary. I think that losing weight quickly would be easier in a very active time, but I'm worried about not haivng enough energy to get through the day.
Please can anyone suggest how I might best go about this ? (I haven't booked the removal appointment yet, so am storing up ideas)
