running and 30 day shred

I have recently started running and although it almost kills me some days the weight is coming off fast. I have been reading a kindle book Running for your life by Verity Fisher and am feeling really enthusiastic. I now want to add to this and am thinking of getting the 3o day shred dvd by jillian michaels. Anyone tried it? I am hoping general fitness will improve my running which I must say im really enjoying...

Hi i started running a couple of years ago and last year added the 30 day shred in .wow it hurt ! Thought i was fairly fit from the running! It is quite tough on your knees ,so i have had a bit of break, keep meaning to have another go will attempt tomorrow . You can view the shred on you tube .

Strength training- like 30ds- will certainly help your running.

Not sure that running is brilliant for weight loss, though it's certainly good for fitness.

I try to shred on the 3 days of the week I don't run.
