30 Day Shred

Tried this once - a long time ago - and failed miserably after about day 3. Has anyone had any success with this? Does it actually work? I've read that it's not a good idea to do it without any rest days - if anybody's tried it either way I'd welcome advice!

Lost about 10lbs for my wedding last year and since then have put it all back on. I've been avoiding mirrors lately as I'm really unhappy with the way I look - I'm more concerned about getting 'in shape' than losing loads of weight, but obviously it'd be a bonus!

You ache horribly for the first 3-4 days but then it gets easier - honest. If you want to try again, bear this in mind and give it a bit longer.

yes, in terms of getting fitter, stronger and more toned. For weight loss you need to adjust your way of eating too, really.

I do it on weekdays and have the weekend off - absolutely I agree its best to have one or two rest days. Some people find that doing it 3 or 4 days a week works ok for them.

Come and join us on the January Shred Thread if you decide to try it again. Smile

Thank you - I'm going to go for a run tonight to ease myself back into things but this sounds pretty positive so will join you on the thread if I decide to give it a go! :)

I reckon running is much harder than shredding, esp this time of year! ConfusedGrin
