Are they very similar? How do they differ? If you have tried both which did you find better ? I need to lose a stone.

Neither; don't buy into the diet industry. Do My fitness Pal (app on phone), or BIWI's Low Carb Boot camp with the 30 Day Shred or something.

All these sins and points take away the idea of the real calorific and nutritional value of foods. There are loads of support threads on here.

I've done so many and the best was WW online. I can eat the foods I like (I'm fussy) as long as I stay within my points and you gain extra points through exercise. The app is good for when I'm out and about. I lost 2 stone last year and I'm rejoining to lose another stone.

I used WW to lose lots of weight (it was well over 100lbs). It set me on the track to maintaining, and I have done so for a long time. But I did it in conjunction with general healthy eating, i.e. cutting down on bad carbs, not eating ready meals just because they were WW branded, organic and clean food wherever possible, etc. It trained good habits into me, while the points system was teaching me boundaries.

I still use lots of the recipes I found back then.
