Do raspberry ketones work?

Have read loads about them in the press, with various celebs vouching for them. But does anyone on MN use them? Holland & Barrett have them in half price sale at the moment, any one tried them?

I'm afraid H and B, Boots etc are not above peddling snake oil, because there is no law against selling useless items.
