White Bread

I normally don't bother with breakfast, but today I had a piece of white bread toast and lurpak with a cup of tea.

But I felt crap after it: empty, bloated, nauseous and far hungrier than I would have had I not eaten it! And windy!

Why? Could it be something to do with gluten?

It was a Mother's Pride sort of loaf.

any sort of breakfast does not normally work for me
and empty over processed carbs like white sliced (have you read how they make it?) are the worst
stick to eggs, yogurt or just tea

How do they make it?

I normally love white toast and gave all bread up for a week, when I next ate it that's how I felt! Except really heavy opposed to empty.

buy or make real bread ...

It didn't fill you up because there is not a lot to it and has no real substance to it.

It made you feel hungrier than as if you had not had anything, because by eating something, you kick started your metabolism, but didn't give it much to satisfy itself.
