I started back on WW two weeks ago, after gaining nearly a stone of the two stone I lost last year after having DS. So far, I have lost 4lbs, which isn't too bad. I have been exercising at home to various DVDs for the last three weeks 3 to 4 times a week. However, everytime I get excited and wake up feeling like I have lost weight/fat and I try on my trousers, they are still flaming tight!! Then I just feel really really fat and start to wonder whether it is all worth it?!! I am due my monthly next week which doesn't help, and because of this I haven't weighed myself this week, will wait until after my monthly has finished, but just wondered whether anyone can offer my any words of wisdom or advice, or just generally encourage, as feeling pretty low today, especially since my DH weighed himself in front of me today and I am nearly 4 stone heavier . I am not overly massive though, I am 5ft 8in, weight 13st 12 and am a size 16. I can't go to WW meetings because all of the local classes are evening ones, and I work evenings so I am just trying to do it myself.

Hiya!

If you're due your AF then clearly you'll be bloated! Never mind the extra weight, it can make your waistband expand 2 inches or more!!! Give it time.

or try my "drink lots of wine spritzers instead of a full main meal" diet! I've lost a stone in 8 weeks.

Cool, a wine diet......... not sure how I can play that one, either turn up for work drunk or sit and drink in the evening at my desk . Well done for the stone though, I could kick myself for putting a stone back on after doing so well, am gutted and just feel like I am wasting my time sometimes. I do get bloated when I am due though, so I guess you're right, its just hard to keep going when you don't see anything happening. I am going to see my BF in six weeks time and so want to drop a dress size by then, but love my food sooooo much, thats way I do WW.
