Cutting out wine is far too drastic!!! I switched to Gin & Slimline Tonic and lost 13lbs in 8 weeks!!!!!!!

I don't know about weight loss as such but I defo get thinner v quickly (loose trousers etc) on the rare occasions I'm off booze.

Might do ...but only if you did it 100x very fast 3 or 4 times a day!

As for giving up wine.... dangerous idea [tut tut!}I know it works as I tried it ....once. But try just cutting down the days you drink it. Better for the liver anyway.

I am such an old lush that I lose stacks of weight when I cut out the booze. . Don't really have to do much with the food as I eat fairly healthily - just stop finishing DD's leftovers!

How about only drinking on Fridays and Saturdays, and having being booze free in the week? I find sometimes that the first glass barely touches the sides, so it is easier to have none.
