Four weeks to wedding dress - what's the quickest/best way??

Ok, so I know I should have got on this sooner. And I know that the best way to lose weight is steadily, 1lb ish a week. I KNOW. But, it's four weeks til I have to wear my wedding dress and it's rather strained tight... What are your best quick-fix tips?? I fully intend to be sensible and back on low carb bootcamp properly after the wedding, but for now need to shed about 6lbs. Help!

I would low carb if I were you. Congratulations, I have 4 weeks until my wedding too.

Congratulation on your upcoming wedding.

Cambridge worked for me 16lbs in 3 weeks!

HeirToTheIronThrone · 13/08/2013 14:52

AKiss - thank you! Congratulations too!
blibblibs - would I have to get the products from a consultant though? Not sure there is time to sign up!

Yeah Cambridge is through a consultant, I went with a friend who was doing it so didn't really have to wait, just tagged along with her.

There is also slim & save which is the same idea but online and i believe delivery is quite quick.

I was on this thread for a while, it should give you an insight to VLCD's.

You should get at least a stone off with slim fast as long as you stick to it. Just drink lots of water.

6lbs in 4 weeks is eminently do-able.

Weightlossresources (calorie counting) would do it. But if you're used to low carbing and it works for you, then just get back on the wagon!

For fast results I'd go for Lipotrim. I'm on it. Lost 10lb first week and so far another 4lb this week. It's not for everyone but it works for a short sharp kick start or if your on a deadline. Im a wedding guest start of Sept so I want to lose a stone or more if possible to look and feel better. Plus I don't feel as fuzzy headed that a carbs overload usually gives you. Google it and find a pharmacy in your area that does it.

ImATotJeSuisUneTot · 14/08/2013 09:09

Lots of ways! If you're a carb fiend, low carbing, the weight will fall off.

If you need to be strict, I'd do slim fast or celebrity slim. Or the Special K diet.

Either way, drink LOADS of water, and be prepared for it not being a permanent weight loss.

Also, you could go for a body wrap the day before to firm you up. Results from that are short lived, but impressive. Smile

Thank you everyone! I'm thinking low carb, gallons of water and lots of exercise, but also off to check out Lipotrim. I so know it won't be permanent, but as long as the photos are nice then I'm not sure I mind too much...

special K is 17% sugar.

Madamecastafiore · 14/08/2013 17:08

Shred - you will lose inches.

If you google there is a company that does products like the cambridge that put you into a very low calorie induced ketosis but you don't have the support of a representative so it's cheaper. I can't remember the name but it begins with an E.
