HeavyBee · 13/06/2006 23:29

No change at all for me, I'm afraid. This plateau seems to be very wide! At least I'm not putting it on, but I seem to be stuck here at 9 stone 7lb. Tortoise, you're doing well!

biglips · 13/06/2006 23:30

tortoise - you lost 4lb as its 14lbs in a stone

tortoise · 13/06/2006 23:32

Thanks heavybee and biglips.I have tried for once this week and am going to keep it up.Just need to add more exercise in to tone up the flab!Grin Do loads of walking so that all helps.

OP posts:
chickenrice · 14/06/2006 07:52

Lost 2lbs.

Might put all that back on as I have bought 2 boxes of 'less than half price' M&S chocolate Blush. It's also 'cake day' yesterday.

jambuttie · 14/06/2006 11:26

12 stone 3 for me. That is 3lb on which ain't to bad considering i was away at the weekend

ernest · 14/06/2006 17:09

I'll repeat my pitiful gain am 9st 12. somebody tell my body it's heading in the wtrong direction - it's not listening to me

busywizzy · 14/06/2006 21:07

Oh soooooo sorry everyone for not staring the thread this week. I've had one disaster after another and just haven't had a chance to get on here. Thanks Tortoise for taking over.

I'm still 10st but am pleased as had major food cravings on Sunday and Monday evenings. Big push this week to loose the next lb.

I'll do the chart now and send it to you all.

Smalline · 14/06/2006 21:20

I'm back to 12 stone this week having put on 1lb. Can only put it down to the time of the month as it has been too hot to eat. Ernest's body listen to your owner, you are going the wrong way, you need to go the other way, oh and don't follow me I'm at a stand-still!Grin

busywizzy · 14/06/2006 21:31

Right, the charts gone to you all. Smalline, what a shame when you'd waited so long to loose that lb. Fingers crossed for next week.

Tortoise and Chickenrice Grin Grin Grin You ladies are on a roll - well done.

Ernest, I haven't got you on our chart. Have I missed your details somewhere and made a mistake (really sorry if I have) or would you like me to add you in.

SleepyJess · 14/06/2006 22:05

Oh cripes.. I have been AWOL.. have I been expelled??! Well I have yo-yo-ed a bit the past three weeks.. but for the benefit of the chart (even tho it has already gone out.. sorry) I have 'stayed the same' as have just been to Slimming World and weighed in at 10 stone 7 again. So 1 stone 4lbs lost in total still. Another 7 pounds to target.

SJ x

Need help, 13 stones was always 9 stones then had 3 children in the last 8 years. Can I join? Want to lost 3 stones in 6 months, is this achievable. Used to maintain weight via running But mental health has affected my weight, an a emotional eater. NEED motivation if only for my sanity and vanity, is this too selfish of me? Sad

skandini · 15/06/2006 22:13

boo hoo is everyone watching BB? I have never dieted, believe in sensible eating, and exercise but its the staying motivated. All the women I work with are under 30, pencil thin and always complaining that they are too faaaat. Admittedly that was me when I had a washboard tummy, ate loads and could put on weight. Maybe its the raw food thing? Am I the only Mum who thinks she is fat, but eveyone says no your not! yeah right. The wieerd thing is I feel more sexual now that am almost 40 But just WIIIIIIIISh my stomach was smaller...help! Blush not helped by DH loving my body, always wants to shag, calls me a MILF, hmmmmm!

busywizzy · 16/06/2006 18:43

Skandini, welcome to our Lardy Ladies club. We've been going since the New Year and there's about 7 of us still going. We've lost between half a stone and almost two stone so there's all sorts of us here.

We post our weight here every Tuesday and I send a chart out to everyone mapping progress. Let me have your e-mail address, your height and starting weight and I'll add you in.

We've really helped each other and I know I wouldn't have stuck this without my 'friends' here. I've lost a stone and have had so much encouragement and support.

Hope we can help you too Smile

busywizzy · 16/06/2006 18:53

Right, I'm going to build a new chart ready for next week. I'm going to include me (obviously), Chickenrice, Heavybee, Jambuttie, Sleepyjess, Smalline and Tortoise. I'll also add in Ernest and Skandini if they want to join and let me have their details.

Anymore takers?

skandini · 16/06/2006 19:54

busywizzy...thank you! my e-mail is [email protected].
look forward to receiving the chart. Smile

jambuttie · 16/06/2006 20:01

I am so dreading this week again.

been of on holiday all week and i have ate ate ate.

trying to convince myself right now that I do not want a mcdonalds

busywizzy · 16/06/2006 21:46

Jambuttie, you have done so, so well up to now so don't go wear shorts hits us Grin

You don't want a McDonalds, you want a glass of water and a breadstick. Yummmmmmmmmmm Grin

DH has booked for the family to go to Centre Parcs on September 1st for a week. I want to be 9st 10lbs (which I haven't been for years) so I better get my butt into gear!!!!

busywizzy · 16/06/2006 21:47

Arrrggghh, don't know what happened there Blush I meant, don't go being bad just as the need to wear shorts hits us.

busywizzy · 17/06/2006 19:42

I'm not having too bad a week and have been trying to keep myself busy in the evenings rather than give in to the temptations of chocolates, ice lollies and most of all, cold white wine Grin

Went running today as well but it was so hot that I did pretty rubbish and gave up after three (pathetic) laps of the track. Oh well, at least I tried. I'm determined to be 9st 10lb by the end of August Smile

tortoise · 17/06/2006 19:44

Not bad week.Ive just eaten about 6 custard creams! I have been bouncing on the new trampoline today so that might help!lol!
Fingers crossed for you busywizzy.Hope you reach your target.Im impressed at you running in this heat.Smile

OP posts:
busywizzy · 17/06/2006 19:56

Tortoise, DD has a big trampoline and I used to love going on it. But since having DS a year ago, it's not really my 'thing' anymore for rather personal reasons Blush so I've had to find alternative forms of exercise Grin

Don't be impressed with me running .... I was pathetic and walked much more than I jogged. Going to try again first thing tomorrow morning whilst it's still cool.

How's it going carrying DD in the backpack - that must be hard in this heat?

tortoise · 17/06/2006 20:17

Used backpack twice this week. Its ok in the morning!
Think i know what you mean with the trampoline!Wink I thought my pelvic floor muscles were ok till i got carried away jumpingBlush!(just a trickle though!)I won our trampoline and it arrived yest. Its 12ft with net round it.Kids are loving it!

OP posts:
busywizzy · 17/06/2006 21:06

Wow, what a fantastic thing to win. We bought ours when DD was about 4 and it's been a great investment. Only thing is, our back garden is a bit of a magnet now to every child in our road Smile

Have fun bouncing.
